The Stranger

This collection was inspired by and collaborated with a photographic artist, Zody Tseng. Her work ‘The Stranger’ was originally inspired by Albert Camus’s novel - The Stranger. Her photos then became my fabrics, my canvases to start my project through digital textile printing. To continue the feelings of alienation and isolation, I have chosen translucent materials to create layers on certain pieces. I have also chosen the creek view (from the photo) to be printed on the floating skirt, in order to recreate water flows that matching the photo.   Glossy fabrics were also used to create a mirror effect.
